Large, slow-growing, trunk-forming yucca. The narrow, sword-shaped, bluish-green form a globe-like rosette on the tops of the stems. Leaves are armed with terminal spines, but are not as stiff as other yuccas. Showy flower stalks emerge in from mature rosettes, bearing clusters of white blooms that attract hummingbirds.
