This vigorous, twining, wisteria has short plump spikes of dark purple-blue flowers, that have a really powerful, strong sweet heady scent. The bronze tinged young foliage is silky. This vine needs to be trained for the first 3 years to establish, then requires annual spring pruning after flowering.
