NATIVE - Dwarf, rounded, deciduous shrub. Blooms in spring with fragrant, white, bottlebrush flowers. Foliage is handsome and dark blue green transforming to vivid shades of yellow, orange and scarlet in the fall. Slow growing. Excellent for foundation plantings, borders, masses. Good in combination with rhododendrons and azaleas. Get the soil right and this is an excellent plant.
