Sweetly scented white blooms appear with the leaves in spring. Easy to grow and a fast climber that will twine counter clock-wise on a sturdy support. In fall the showy seedpods are covered with downy fuzz. Needs to be trained for the first 3 years to establish, then requires annual spring pruning after flowering. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant.
