Bears pretty, speckled, mophead blooms from July to September, reminiscent of peppermint candy. Plants grown in alkaline soils produce pink flowers, while those grown in acid soils bear blue flowers. Perfect for growing in a mixed, herbaceous border, especially when used in conjunction with other hydrangeas. Excellent cut flower.
