Upright, oval, suckering, deciduous shrub perfect for mid summer color, even in wet, shady spots.  Blooms in mid-summer with fragrant, bright pink flowers. Foliage is lustrous and dark green, becoming clear gold in the fall. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Slow to medium growth rate.
