NATIVE - Upright, open, native deciduous shrub. Blooms in mid summer with large, conical, creamy white flowers that fade to rosy pink.  Foliage is dark green changing to burgundy-red in the fall.  Handsome exfoliating cinnamon colored bark. Requires some winter protection and mulch over roots. Easy to grow and vigorous.
