Carex divulsa is a cool-season sedge that matures into arching, fine textured clumps. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions - moist to boggy to clay soils to hard-to landscape areas under trees. Fairly drought tolerant, but best appearance occurs with regular moisture. Sun to shade. Introduced from Eurasia and naturalized in parts of the U.S. and Canada. 1 - 3' tall with an equal spread.
