Low-growing, dense, shrub useful as a ground cover. Blooms in spring with small pinkish flowers.  Bright red berries show from late summer into early winter. Foliage is lustrous, dark green and changes to bronzy green in the fall. Interesting twiggy texture. Easy to grow and slow to moderate growth rate. Attracts birds. Deer resistant.
