Pyramidal to oval small tree or large shrub. Blooms in late summer with beautiful white flowers with golden centers, followed by interesting fruits. Foliage is dark green and changes to a reddish-purple in the fall. Young bark flakes off. Slow to re-establish after transplanting, but worth the wait. Growth rate is slow. One of the most beautiful small trees with year round interest.
