NATIVE - Slow to re-establish after transplanting, but worth the wait. Flowers are small, yellow and bloom very early. Fruits are red and loved by birds. Fall color is bright yellow. Larva of some butterflies feed on leaves. Excellent for naturalizing in sun or shade and in moist areas. Excellent as a specimen or early spring accent.
