Green, dwarf linearlobum upright with very thread-like leaves. They emerge crimson in spring then quickly turn bright green. Fall color is a vibrant yellow-orange. Its colorful bark adds interest to the winter landscape. Slow growing. Protect from harsh winter winds. 'Koto no Ito' means harp strings referring to its string-like leaves.
