A long-blooming native Ohio aster for the woodland edge or partially shaded pollinator garden. Delicate, small 1/3" pinkish-white flowers with rosy centers. Attractive to a variety of native bees, beneficial wasps, butterflies, and skippers. The rhizomatous plants grow 1 -4' tall and may form small colonies. Tolerates some drought but will flourish in moist soils. (Syn. Symphyotrichum lateriflorum)
