Small deciduous tree featuring very fragrant star-shaped pink flowers that fade to white in early spring. Dense, multi-stemmed and fast growing with an upright spreading habit. Relatively low maintenance, but only prune after flowering. Deer usually leave alone. Red seeds form in greenish pods that split open in fall. Various landscape uses.
