Rough corky bark, and an ascending branch habit. Thick, five-lobed, attractive, medium to dark green leaves remain long into fall, then rapidly change to a pale golden-yellow fall color. Excellent small tree for small properties. Good specimen tree for lawns or street. Accent or shade tree. Drought and cold tolerant with clean, pest-free foliage.
