Fire Pinks are low, mounding wildflowers native to Ohio. Plants are often short-lived but will freely self-seed where happy. Best grown in meadows, open woodland areas or naturalized areas. Prefers light dappled shade and very well-drained soil. Ruby-throated hummingbirds are the main pollinator. Flowers also provide nectar for native bees, butterflies and nocturnal moths. 1 - 2'
