An Ohio native Goldenrod with fine-textured foliage and golden yellow flat-topped flowers in late summer. Prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade but tolerant of poor, dry soils. May spread where happy. Cherished by butterflies and praying mantises and is a larval host plant for several moths. Small birds enjoy the seeds. (syn. Euthamia graminifolia) 2 -4' tall.
