Compact, mound?forming shrub selected at Iowa State for improved winter hardiness. It bears bright golden yellow, 1-inch flowers with prominent stamens in mid to late summer. The foliage is narrow, fine textured, bluish-green above and glaucous beneath, providing good seasonal interest. Deer-resistant, attracts bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
