NATIVE - Vigorous vine with striking, tropical purple and white flowers and lush, dark green foliage. Plants will freeze to the ground each winter but will resprout each spring. Plant near a foundation or mulch crowns heavily. Can spread aggressively through underground runners but is an excellent choice for trellises, fences, and arbors. Its flowers attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Produces edible fruit attracting birds and other wildlife. Serves as a host for butterflies and moths.
