Upright, vase shaped, small tree or large shrub. Foliage is dark green and crinkled and becomes orange-red in the fall. Branches are stout, but slow growing. Ideal for small gardens or for bonsai. Shishigashira means lion's head. Provide protection from afternoon sun and winds.
