Vigorous, twining, deciduous vine. Blooms from spring through summer with slightly fragrant, trumpet shaped, carmine flowers with yellow throats. Foliage is a blue green and takes on a bronze cast in the fall. Very easy and fast. Provide a sturdy structure as the stems can become woody with age. Attracts hummingbirds.
