NATIVE - Pyramidal to oval in youth, Develops a massive trunk and broad crown. Dark green foliage turns yellow-brown in fall with huge fringed acorns. Somewhat difficult to transplant. Excellent park tree. Tolerant of most soils. withstands drought, wind, extreme cold, pollution and salt.
