A handsome snakebark maple whose bark, especially on the younger stems, is completely white during the winter months creating a stunning sight in the winter garden. Finely textured large leaves turn pale yellow in fall. Best planted with an eastern exposure or as an understory tree to protect the bark from sun scald.
