Fast growing. Large, upright, symmetrical, shade tree useful in larger landscapes.  Foliage is a rich green, transforming in the fall to bright vermilion and scarlet; holding leaves later than other Red Maples.  Develops a good branching form, tolerates most soils and drought. 1997 "Iowa Tree of the Year" award winner. Timesaver.
