Coarse, lacy, deeply cut leaves fill out this slow growing birch. Young, rough textured white twigs turn to smooth copper the second season. Copper colored trunk and branches mature, in time, to the white bark similar to the parent tree. Discovered growing as a witches broom on a large Whitebark Birch.
