Unusual white bark of this true river birch rivals that of B. papyrifera and other white-barked beauties. Glossy dark green foliage shines through the growing season, and then turns golden yellow. Shows increased tolerance of heat and drought. Low maintenance, medium to fast growing tree. Deer resistant.
