Vigorous, graceful, pyramidal, deciduous tree. Large leaves are a dark, glossy green, turning and excellent yellow in the fall. Bark is peeling, apricot-cream colored. Resistant to Bronze Birch Borer. Will grow in wet areas. Will always need to be watered during prolonged droughts.
