Vigorous, clinging, deciduous vine. Blooms heavily in spring, then intermittently through frost with apricot blushing to scarlet, trumpet shaped flowers which attract hummingbirds. Foliage is heavy, coarse, dark green and bushy. Very fast growing and can be heavily pruned in spring to keep in bounds.
