Weeping, deciduous small tree. Blooms in very early spring, with vivid magenta flowers. Foliage is heart shaped, unfurls in spring a reddish purple, maturing to a medium green in summer, transforming in the fall to yellow. Slow growing. A very tolerant and adaptable tree.
