A slow growing evergreen tree with large, green glossy leaves. Has large cup-shaped, very fragrant, white blossoms in early summer. Flowers give way to spherical cone-like fruiting clusters that release individual rose-red coated seeds. Use in lawns, near decks/patios, small street tree or in containers. Also may be grown as a screen or hedge.
