Fast growing upright tree. Large lightly fragrant, canary yellow flowers open just as the leaves emerge. The tree appears to be covered with candle flames because of the narrow petals. The glossy green foliage turns yellow in the fall before dropping. Excellent as a specimen tree providing a stunning display.
