An old favorite! This is a dense, rounded, multi-stemmed, suckering, deciduous shrub with stiff, straight, ascending but arching branches. Four petaled, very fragrant, white flowers bloom in May to early June. Dark brown bark exfoliates with age. Deer resistant. Attracts butterflies and other pollinators.
