Compact, rounded, shrub. Blooms profusely in spring with flat topped, yellowish white flowers followed by glossy red berries that mature to black. Foliage is heavy, dark green and somewhat persistent. Easy to grow. Makes a great privacy hedge. Some winter protection will help the leaves to remain on the plant.
