NATIVE - Small, mound-shaped,?deciduous?shrub, with dense, upright branching and exfoliating, red to purple bark. Blue-green, foliage becomes yellow-green in fall. Large, yellow flowers are a pollinator magnet. Deer and rabbit resistant. Attracts birds and is host plant to Gray Hairstreak butterfly and other caterpillars.
